Texas act Shotgun Rider goes on indefinite hiatus

Well, here's another bit of sad news.

Shotgun Rider, an up and coming Texas act, has announced an indefinite hiatus. The duo, consisting of singer Logan Samford and guitarist Anthony Enriquez, announced via social media, “To our fans. Thank you for giving us 4 years of incredible memories. For letting us chase our dream, we will never be able to thank you enough for your support. We have decided our time together as Shotgun Rider has come to an end. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for this incredible chapter in our lives.”

The Texas Panhandle-based duo released as three EPs and a debut full-length, Palo Alto, in 2018. Considered one of the more promising acts in the Texas/Red Dirt scene, I know I'm not the only one sad to see them go.
