Song of the Week: Kylie Rae Harris' "Twenty Years From Now"

Such a tragedy.

This has always been a good song. Kylie Rae Harris wrote it for her then-three year old daughter as a way to express the effects a career in music can have on family life. Now in the aftermath of the tragic events that transpired in Taos, New Mexico, the song carries that much more weight. In particular, the line in the chorus "God, I hope I'm still around" gives me chills.

Regardless of the events and/or cause of this tragic event, anyone losing their life or loved one is utterly horrible. Prayers for all involved.
