The first time I came across Sean Berry was his cover of Tyler Childers's "Feathered Indians" on Twitter. And he absolutely crushed it. So of course, I wanted to check out some of his original music.
I logged on to Spotify and hit play on his only EP, Wildfire. Let me tell you, I liked what I heard. If you're a fan of good ole southern-fried country rock, you should give Berry's EP a spin. His songwriting is solid, has a soulful voice, and you can't help but enjoy the rock-leaning guitar tones on this record. I'm looking forward to hearing more new music from him in the future.
Berry, son of 90s country singer John Berry, hails from Athens, GA and now resides in East Texas. Hear his song "First Generation Drunk" below. (Standout Tracks: First Generation Drunk, Wildfire, Trestle Days)
