Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, Hayes Carll, recently made his Grand Ole Opry debut. The momentous occasion was captured on film, showing the Texas native touring the Opry halls.
“Kris Kristofferson got me here, Willie Nelson got me here, Bob Dylan got me here — they just spoke to me in a way that was even more profound. I could’ve been a fan of 1,000 different people, but those guys made me want to change my life.” says Carll of his journey to the Opry stage.
Carll performed the song "Jesus and Elvis" off his most recent album, What It Is, with his girlfriend Allison Moorer. Moorer is also a co-writer on the track.
